Did you know that Close to My Heart partners with Operation Smile? Did you know that Operation Smile provides surgeries for children and adults with cleft lip and palates? Some of these families travel for days in not so good conditions for the hope of getting picked for a surgery. As a mother, I would do the same thing if one of my children needed help.
For as little at $240, a surgery can be given. So many people and facilities donate their time to make each surgery possible. Not only do they do comprehensive screening to make sure its safe for the patient to have surgery, they do everything they can to help them relax and not be scared. Since for some, this is their first time ever in a medical facility.

CTMH does not just raise money for a cause, they are actively involved as well. CTMH staff and consultants take time out of their lives to travel and help these families get help.
