Yesterday I made a quick trip to Michaels to get more Cricut Infusible Ink. I had a new project I needed to make. Cricut Infusible Ink – using it on a Black Canvas tote bag. Keep reading and I will show you how I did it!
I made these tote bags for my Close to My Heart Convention that is coming up. These will be roommate gifts!

To make these bags I first put the design into Design Space. You will need to cut it twice. Once on Cricut Glitter Iron on and again on a Cricut Infusible Ink sheet. Because the Infusible Ink won’t work on a cotton based item, such as these tote bags. I had to use the Glitter Iron on as a base to get the ink to transfer. Bonus, it gives the finished project a glittery look too!
Using the Cricut Glitter Iron On on your projects really opens up the number of items you could use the infusible ink on. Instead of being limited to just polyester fabric projects for example, you could now use this on cotton, denim, or any fabric.
You can watch my video on how did this step by step.
